So long, farewell

Today is the last day of preschool. (Tomorrow morning we will have graduation.) As much as I love those funny little 4 and 5 year-olds, summer is coming at just the right time. Julia, however, would probably love to accompany me to preschool year round. She naps through most of the class, but when she is awake and downstairs with us she has the time of her life. That is, until I call the kids' attention to me. Here are some pictures of Julia (Baby Ju Ju, as they call her) during singing time. She used to sit in the exersaucer and yell until we looked back, then she'd smile and laugh. Lately she would rather be playing with blocks or anything else she can crawl to (little bits of hardened playdough and scraps of paper are popular with her). Check her out in these pictures.

See her crawling toward the rug (and attention) after being bored with stackers.
The kids began to giggle so naturally Julia joined in.
Baby Ju Ju will miss her friends. But she will see many of them again in the fall. Until then, I will try to keep her company as best I can!

Wow, Julia is certainly getting a head start on her education! It must be fun for the kids to have their own little mascot there at school.

I miss preschool. It is nice to have a break, especially when you have a little one to take care of. She looks like she's ready to go to school!

I love the pic of Julia laughing with both her hands on the girls shoulders. Enjoy the time off!
