We had a great time, and I think I can speak for Julia too. You can't be sure, though. She smiled for the pictures, naturally (she's been trained well). But I don't know if she quite understood that going down the snowy hill is fun and exciting. She heard us laughing as we went down, but the expression on her face was completely blank. I guess we can't expect her to fully appreciate fun when she experiences it at this stage. Oh well, maybe next year, huh?
P.S. Jonny LOVES to play. Before we had Julia, we referred to our future kids as "our little friends" and made a list (ongoing) of the fun things we'd do with them. Now that Ju-Ju is here, he is ready and anxious to begin the fun! But maybe he and she will have to stick to shoulder rides, peek-a-boo, and "Bop-It" for a little while.

Hmmm . . . tough one. Who knows if Jooia really did have fun, but I consider NOT crying during the cold fast slidy time to be a good sign. The only sledding I've ever done with my kids is when I put Jeffy on a cookie sheet and hurled him down the icy parking lot! He sure loved that, but Ethan was Julia's age, and he just sat in the stroller. I'm glad you guys are having lots of fun with your "little friend."
HA! I guess we are blogging at the very same time.
Melody, your baby is a fat puff puff in those snow clothes, and the best baby of all the babies. Sometimes your baby is so cute, i think she is the puffiest of all the babies. Please may I hold your baby, one of these days.
Lili, you are weird. But funny.
I want to come sledding with you. It would make all the cold and wet worth it if I could sled with the little one. Maybe in the deep mountainous snow of Colorado one of these years, eh?
Those photos of Julia sledding are the cutest thing ever! She is so cute w/ a hat and I just love those photos!
well, it sure looks fun, so i'm thinking the fun was understood. you guys are brave in this freezing place we live... but she looks cozy warm in her snow clothes... too cute!
