Atticus Finch

Yesterday Jonny and I watched To Kill a Mockingbird. For years it's been one of my favorite books and movies. I think every single character is cast so perfectly in the film - especially Gregory Peck as Atticus. Who else could play him?

There's just something about this movie that makes it one of those that I could watch over and over again. So much good and truth is portrayed in the film. Atticus Finch is one the greatest literary heroes. After watching the movie, you feel like you know him personally, respect him, and want to be like him.

If you are looking for a true classic, watch this movie - even if you've already seen it a dozen times!

Mom's brother Mike said once this was the best movie ever made. I have seen it many times, and never tire of it. Good for black and white night.

Oh, I love him. I often think of how he dealt with Scout's swearing whilst I'm thinking of my parenting times. Anyway, good stuff.

Mitch and I just put it on his Ipod so that we could both listen to it at night! We'll definitely have to rent the movie afterwards too.

I must agree, one of the best books and movies of all times. Thanks to my mother I have gained a great love for Atticus. My mom always says that he is her hero. What a complex yet simple story. I think it is one of the few movies that does the book justice. Great flick, and it will never get old.

Gregory Peck's greatest role by far. He could have retired after making that movie.
