"How will I ever do this?"
"I have to wear shorts forever. Mom, I will run out of shorts!"
Looking out the window at the passing cars, "I don't want everyone to see this!"
"How will I not let Naomi see it? And Mary? And all my girlfriends? And my boyfriends!?"
"Mom, will you not forget to tell me to wear shorts every day? Every day!?"
"Gabe, I have an oweeeeeeee!"
"How will I go hiking?! What shorts will I wear when I am hiking!?"
Jonny said something to me like, "This is ridiculous. She sounds like she broke a bone and we are on our way to the hospital." Julia heard this through her crying and wailed out, "I don't want to go to the hospital!"
It was a long ride home.
These pictures were taken a few weeks ago, at a much happier moment in her life. Thought I'd tuck them in this post so you can see a little of her dramatic silliness.

Thank you for this post! I needed it as I lay awake at 3:45 AM waiting for Ruby to stop her drama and go back to sleep. One second she's crying, and the next, she's pretending her crib is a trampoline and laughing like crazy! It will be interesting to see how the drama develops in the future.
I can't wait to tell KC about all Juju's outbursts! I think the skinned knee was worth it. I wish I was there! And it's a very good thing you tucked those pictures in. That girl knows how to make an auntie melt.
I should have joined Em, I was up not much after that with my own drama queen as well...
But this was one of the most hilarious things I have read ever. What a little diva! It is funny to see her thought process about about a little scrape. She is VERY concerned about her shorts, I hope you are well stocked! I can just imagine her saying all these things. What a crazy pants, I hope her oweeeeee is ok.
So cute! She's such a girl! I think only a girl would worry if her wardrode could carry her through in such an unfortunate crisis as a scrape on the knee.
She's adorable! I love when she and Miles play together. She says the cutest things.
HA HA! Life with a girl! You have to love it!
She is hilarious. I love the drama after its all over. I can laugh about it later, but seriously, it is NOT fun to listen to a freaking out child for a long ride. Poor Juila.
Keegan and I thoroughly enjoyed this post every time we read it. Which was about 5. I hope it is still there when we get there, because Asher loves to inspect a good owie!
I am sure Naomi will love to see her skinned knee. Kids love to think about what others will think. Don't we all.
HA!! Those statements have me laughing outloud. Julia is such a character.
We do drama VERY well at out house. I'm sure Bianca can show her a thing or two when we come visit in a couple weeks :)
Drama is right! What a nut case
