Jonny may be Julia's idol, but Gabe is all about his mommy.Yes, I know, he is just at that clingy-I-only-want-mom stage right now. But as tough as this can be when I need to put him down and, say, do anything - I relish in it. I adore my boy. He is crazy and wild and will hardly sit still for a few seconds. Simply changing a diaper or putting clothes on him require an Olympic effort on my part as she struggles to get free. He yells at me when I am eating or drinking anything and begs for whatever it is like a little puppy at my feet. He is a big guy and my arms tire very quickly from hauling his chunky body around on my hip. But he also has the sweetest smile that gets me every time. His deep belly laugh makes me laugh whenever I hear it. He is the fastest crawler in the West and I love swooping him up into my arms when I see him coming for me. I crack up when I look in my rear-view mirror to see him head-banging and clapping his hands to the music. Reading to him before naps and bed are some of the sweetest moments in my day - and the only ones where he sits still on my lap.
Like I said, I adore Gabe. And he just happens to adore me right now. Lucky us.

He is such a sweet boy. I love his little handsome face. And I agree that as hard as it is to be needed all the time, it's also so precious. They won't want to cling to us forever!

OH he reminds me of my boys! Jeffy especially wanted to be held ALL the time!! And those boys are not small, eh? I do love a snuggly child, except when anything needs to get done! He's a smoochy-pants.
Yeah, except he's not snuggly, Cam! He wants to be held, NOT sitting down, but standing up and walking.
You DO have to soak up and treasure the time when they love you because they don't show it so well when they are older.
