"Shake, shake your grumps away.."

The title of this post refers to a little song from a recent Super Why episode. Julia has been singing it all week. I thought it fit the following pictures well.

Here Julia is after impatiently waiting for her hole-in-the-bread. When I sing the song from the TV show to a grumpy Julia, she says, "NO shake my grumps away, Mom!"

The other night we found Gabe uncharacteristically lying still and looking quite grumpy.

Julia decided she'd help him "shake his grumps away" by blowing on his tummy. Sister knows best - it worked.
These next two aren't grumpy pictures, but some blank expressions that we caught this week. Julia had just eaten a single yellow peanut M&M. (This is why we don't give her chocolate or messy candy very often!) The next one is a runny-nosed Gabe staring at us from his highchair in the kitchen. He sat like this for several minutes.

Love, love, love that fat bellied Gabe laying on the floor. How could you resist giving that chub a big raspberry. So cute!

great pictures, I love those blank stares...it makes you wonder what they are thinking about in those curious brains of theirs!

Sadly, I think I can say with assurance we will not be coming to utah. It was a nice thought, but since we will possible be moving out of the state(keep your fingers crosses) in march, scott thinks it would be "wise" not to take a trip. Lame. But cross your fingers that our move in march will be back to utah, we are applying for jobs right now!!

Seriously your children are beautiful. It's incredible. and their such a good mix of both of you although I see alot of Melody in them. Gabe is darling. It;s so funny that he rolls all over. smart kid. Something tells me Julia is already giving reese a run for her money when it comes to sillyisms and such.
