Easter Sunday

The only big excitement for Julia last Easter was the fake grass in her basket. But this year she was thrilled with the Easter festivities. It was so fun to see her get into the egg dying and hunting. She even enjoyed a deviled egg at dinner.

I have always loved this Spring holiday. We really want to start some Christ-centered traditions to go along with all the egg and basket fun. Anyone have any good ones? We were going to watch The Testaments but were in the middle of the classic Ten Commandments. (It was my first time watching it in full. Quite a masterpiece for its time. Had to laugh a little at the "special effects" though!)

By the way, I hesitated but then decided to include a few pictures of my pregnant self. (Jill, are you happy now?) Yes, my Easter egg of a tummy is quite large. Never mind I still have a month to go! Yikes.

as usual, Julia is a complete doll, it looks like the Easter festivities were a big hit! Mel, you look spectacular, and you do have quite the darling little easter egg belly, but only because you haven't gained a single pound anywhere else..seriously.

I was also thinking about starting a tradition next year on having something centered a little more around christ...let me know if you come across anything good.

Wow, Julia has so many expression. Mom and I thought she looks like one of Jonny's sisters in that close up of her. She looks like a kid now, instead of a baby. I can't wait to squeeze both of the kiddies in a couple months. I hope she remembers me!

LOVE the pics. I still think you look quite small. But that's just because you stay small all over the rest of yourself. Nice job. SO glad you guys could come over. Very fun.

LOL. I remember being interested in things like fake grass when I was a kid!! One Christmas, I got a big toy in a box... and I ended up playing with the box, not the toy! Ahh... to be a kid again!! Hard to believe that Julia is growing up!! Aww!
