Not only is Gabe my baby no longer because, well, he's a humongous 2.5 year old - but also because we will have a little one joining us at the end of May! We really are thrilled and just can't wait to see what another little personality will add to our family. In preparation, we just up-sized to a minivan (a "Swagger Wagon," if you will) to accommodate another small person and the gear that comes along with him/her. I can't get over the power sliding doors - magical!
May seems a long way off here in the dead of winter, but surely Julia and Gabe will keep us busy in the mean time. We thought about not finding out the gender until birth, but are thinking again on that. Julia has informed me that "girl babies are the only best ones in the world." So if this one is a boy, she may need some months of convincing that boy babies are alright too. That, and the fact that I just don't think I will be able to wait until May to know what is growing inside of me!
This news may explain why I have been somewhat non-existent in the world lately - especially in the afternoons and evenings. These months of nausea are just miserable. At least I am able to keep everything down. And most foods aren't completely grossing me out anymore. I am 15 weeks along now and will probably not be myself again until 20 weeks or so, judging by my last two pregnancies. So, yes, if you call after 8:00 pm, I probably will be asleep!
P.S. Just so you don't assume Gabe's sweet countenance in the top picture is characteristic of our wild man, here are some more photos to assure you that he is just as silly as ever.

Congrats on baby #3! We are so excited for you guys!
Oh congrats!!! I'm sorry you're feeling sick. Those nauseous days are all to fresh in my memory. Hopefully they will pass soon. I'm so happy for you!
I had suspicions based on the mini van announcement from Jonny, and your lack of posting. I am so glad they were right! May the next five weeks fly by for you.
Yay, yay, yay! Also, Gabe looks so big and handsome in those pictures.
I had been suspecting too, based on the same things Lindsey said! I'm so excited for you! Congratulations We got your Christmas card- can't wait to get together soon!
I've been suspecting, too. Congratulations!

Congratulations! I've been wondering when the next little one would be added to your family.
Congratulations!
Yay! The cat is out of the bag! I am so excited to see another beyond cute baby come into your family. No more morning sickness! I hope you are more and more like yourself every day. And oh my, Gabe is such a darling boy. I'm sad I can't kiss him right now. And Julia for being cute and saying such funny things.
Congratulations! What fun news. And I am totally excited about your minivan. Is it lame that I can't wait to get one?
Congrats!! that is exciting! It will probably go by faster then you think!
Hooray!!!! I'm so happy for you! Keep your chin up. The sickness phase will be over before you know it.
YES!! I knew it! Congrats to you and your sweet little family. Hopefully you get feeling better soon! I wish I lived closer so I could come take JuJu and Gabe off your hands while you get some rest.
We need to chat. I'm calling you this week!
What a cute little guy who loves his Nana! Every time I see you you look a little less green. So excited for the new one!
An announcement! 20 weeks? That's not fair for you. Oh well, at least you stay skinny. Gabe IS hardly a baby anymore! Sad. Also, when your power doors stop working, do not panic. There is a button that turns the power on and off. I didn't know and thought mine was broken for a long time and I was sad.
