I finally purchased a double jogging stroller a few weeks ago. I was nervous about running with Gabe at such a young age, but with an added head-support pillow he seems to sit comfortably. (Sometimes he does fuss a little when he is tired but can't quite fall asleep. As soon as we get home and I put him in the swing, he is out. This works out nicely as I am anxious to hop in the shower.) I was also relieved to find that Julia still enjoys strolling as I run. As long as she has her baggie of snacks ("nats") and I let her climb in by herself, we are good to go. It's a little tricky to get a toddler fed, a baby nursed, and all of us out the door before the day's heat sets in, but it is so worth it when I'm out there working hard and sweating. I have
really missed that. And I love looking down to see the two little faces I adore as we run together. Julia even cheers us on. "Yea! The top!" she says, as we make it up a big hill. We are looking forward to our first 5k run together next week in Logan. We'll see how we three do!
P.S. As you may be able to tell, after much diliberation I purchased the Babytrend Expedition stroller. I really wanted to deluxe BOB stroller. I even bought it and decided to return it. I knew the Babytrend had almost everything I needed at about 1/3 the cost of the BOB. Plus, then I could also buy the Joovy Ultralight Sit'n'Stand for more compact strolling adventures. It was a long and hard double stroller search, but in the end I am happy with my decisions.

I will look for you! We just got that same jogging stoller, only used. It is much more faded. I have heard the Joovy sitnstand is awesome! I am hoping to get one of those as well.

Hurrah! But yes, it gets so hot if you don't go right away (I still just run at the gym these days). We are looking forward to running that 5K with you too, if all goes according to plan!

Oh, to exercise again! It must feel great. I LOVE Julia's bed head so much! And Gabe just looks so much older already. Oh, I'm sad to not be there. Have fun with your new stroller!
So funny that you were between the Bob and Babytrend, we were too! I loved the Bob but couldn't justify the money so two weeks ago we bought the Babytrend. Its still in the box but I hope it will be a good fit!
oh man... I am in desperate need of a running stroller. I have been using my Chicco and I just know that a true rather than fake running stroller would be so much better. Any suggestions? Also, I think that little Gabe looks so much like you!! ADORABLE!

That's so awesome! I imagine you get twice the work out pushing those two along too! I'm glad you were able to find the perfect stroller at last.
